Global Economic Sanction a Reality!

Revelation 13:16-18: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Did you know that a global economic sanction was prophesied by God some 2,000 years ago? Read Revelation 13:16-18 above.

No one believed it then based upon their current separate global economies coupled with the old modes of travel and communications. The world was so far apart that the prophecy of a global economic sanction was perceived by the faithless to be impossible. Today’s world is experiencing a global economic sanction like someone experiencing the sun rising from the east every morning. It is now a common weapon of threat to “discipline” any nation, big or small, to make them toe the line of the bigger democratic powers! The weapons of war are no longer limited to military might as was the case for centuries. There is also cyber warfare that can disrupt and even cripple nations, since almost every facet of our lives at home and work are linked to the virtual world. There is no escaping the tentacles of global control and influence! This is seductive modernity that keeps evolving until it grips and controls the heart, mind and life of every soul. Now the world cannot do without it. Every soul is being forced to capitulate or suffer the consequence.

This global interconnectivity seems so innocuous. But behind it lies the diabolical plots of the god of this world who is spreading its pseudo-omnipotence over every fabric of society, and making every human more and more dependent on this world’s methodologies rather than on God’s holy way of life. The world seems to be winning as Christianity turns more and more apostate and carnal via the health-and-wealth gospel that has Christianized materialism. Hundreds of millions of professing believers are lured into this devilish pit sincerely believing that they are glorifying God when in reality they are glorifying the Devil. The gibberish that they term as communicating with God is so infantile. If not for the Scriptural explanation of spiritual blindness and the tragic end of being cast into hell that awaits these poor souls, it would be unbelievable! How can millions of educated, grown men and women believe that they are talking to God when only gibberish comes out of their mouths! God already prophesied of such experiences at the coming of the Antichrist in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12: “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

What a perilous world we are living in!

The “mark … of the beast” (Rev 13:17) will be the key to economic freedom. Those who have the “mark” will enjoy this world, for they can buy and sell and go on with their normal lives. This “mark of the beast” will be readily accepted by the people of the world and all professing believers since survival on earth means everything to them. What is this “mark of the beast”? It is a mark that only unbelievers will have. The teaching from the Bible is clear. Anyone who accepts this “mark of the beast” cannot be a born-again believer. Revelation 16:1-2: “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” [Emphasis added] And Revelation 19:20: “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” [Emphasis added]

These two passages of the Bible tell us clearly that the ones who have the “mark of the beast” are not believers as they will be punished by God because they worshipped the image of the Antichrist. Therefore, it cannot be a computer chip placed in the hand or wrist or the forehead. Placing a computer chip in any part of the body will not make a person an unbeliever as much as wearing a watch on the wrist will not make a person an unbeliever! God will not allow His children to be “tricked” into putting on the “mark of the beast” by some unclear mark. It has to be biblically clear to all who are born again. They will know without a shadow of doubt that the moment a person accepts the mark he cannot be a Christian, like someone who denies Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, or that there are no miracles in the Bible, or that Christ was not born of the virgin Mary, or he says he is a believer and then returns to his old idolatrous worship days! These are very discernible truths teaching that truly born-again believers will know conclusively, but not the unbelievers and professing believers!

The other two marks are “the name of the beast” (Rev 13:17) and “the number of his name” (Rev 13:17). The “name of the beast” means the followers of the beast will live like the beast and follow in his footsteps. Just like the ones who have the name of Christ are called Christians. By their good works (i.e. their holy life), people will see Christ in them and glorify our Father who is in heaven! The ones who have “the name of the beast” will point others to follow the beast! The beast is characterised by lies, wickedness and deception. These evil ones would not know that they are lying and deceiving as they think such behaviour is normal! The “number of his name” is 666 which is three times the number of man! This means that he is one hundred percent carnal and nothing spiritual. He is a carnally minded natural man who understands only the things of nature; whereas the spiritual man understands spiritual things. In short, he is not born again in Christ! He lives for the world. He believes the world is all there is in life and so he must help to save this earth. He regards this world as his mother so he calls it mother earth as if this earth, and not God, gives him life! Romans 8:5-8: “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;

but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Do we see the nearness of Christ’s return?

Let us obey God and take careful heed to His warning in 1 Thessalonians 5:6-10: “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” Amen.
