We make judgments all the time, but we do not like to be judged by others. We like to receive praises but not negative judgments. People do not like to be judged. They therefore want to believe there is no God who will judge them (e.g. the theory of evolution, etc). God will judge us whether we like it or not. Where will you end up when God judges you?

Apostle Peter wrote to professing believers to stop their transgressions (1 Pet 4:15). When Christians transgress and are punished, they bring shame to the name of Christ. We must stop suffering for evil-doing. We must remain faithful to Christ. God is glorified when true believers go through difficulties for the sake of Christ (1 Pet 4:16).

We are living in the last of the last days. False Christianity is promoted in many churches and there are many false Christians. These are dangerous times, and there is confusion in the church. We have to be more careful today as false believers may be like true believers. False doctrines are very similar to true doctrines. There are more professing believers than true believers.

God will judge and He will start with the church of God (1 Pet 4:17). Believers and unbelievers in God's house will be judged first. No one can escape. If you are a child of God, obey God. Christian husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the church. Christian mothers are to teach their children to love God and to care for things spiritual. Are we hypocrites? God knows. The last days will be like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, and will greatly impact our lives today. We have to be sure of our salvation. True believers will “scarcely be saved” (1 Pet 4:18). If you are truly born again then hold on to the end.

We must suffer for Christ. The process of aging is a form of suffering for Christ. God is in control of our aging, and of time. We must not murmur or complain as it is according to the will of God, our faithful Creator (1 Pet 4:19). He gave us life, and we will all have to answer to Him. Let us evaluate ourselves before God. Are you a child of God? Make sure of your salvation in Christ.
