Global System in Place for the One-World Ruler to Rise!

Two thousand years ago when God revealed to His children that a world ruler (also called the Antichrist) will rise to power as the one true global dictator controlling all nations, it seemed so impossible. Even as far back as 70 years ago after the Second World War, it was still seemed impossible because of the fragmented state of all the nations. For example, there was no one world economic system since the great land of China was hidden behind the bamboo curtain. Today that has all changed as this Covid-19 pandemic reveals. The world can be locked down just as many nations are locking down their people in the millions. This is for their protection and to stop the spread of this virus. But the same power can also be used for other agendas; like if anyone does not have the mark of the beast he cannot buy and sell.  Billions can be under lockdown with present day advanced technology and be tracked with a little more tweaking of the satellite system, perhaps.

This is what the Bible prophesied 2,000 years ago regarding the coming of the Antichrist and his side-kick the False Prophet who will promote him by the performance of devilish miracles. The False Prophet is described as “another beast”. He is another of the same kind like the Antichrist.

Revelation 13:11-18: “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Millions of sceptics throughout the ages have scorned these prophecies of God because they see and judge based upon their eyes and minds. There was no system in place then for such a prophetic eventuality. But today the system is already in place and yet many still do not believe. Will God’s children be better? Prophecies must be seen by God's children as the future deeds of their heavenly Father and if they will not believe who on earth will? The following prophecies have already been fulfilled: 

• The gospel preached all over the world -- Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” The gospel has been “travelling” all over the world many times over through the radio and television waves and the internet.

• False Christs and false prophets will arise -- Matthew 24:23-24: “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” [Emphasis added] These are the Charismatics who came into existence in 1906. They have taken the Christian world by storm in the past 100-odd years. They have literally changed the face of Christianity in a way that is unimaginable where carnality is regarded as holy and right becomes wrong and wrongs are right! They originated the term “mega churches” with their tens of thousands of worshippers flocking to hear their diabolical gospel every week. The Greek word for great is “mega.” The Charismatic movement is also called the Signs and Wonders movement.

• Falling away of Christianity -- 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5: “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?”

Let us be awakened to the signs of the end times. They are already being fulfilled. Covid-19 has revealed a frightening disparity in the lives of believers. We seem to be more concerned with our physical well-being than our spiritual. Parents are prepared to stop their children’s education and cancel holidays because of Covid-19. Even the great sports-obsessed Americans have cancelled their sporting events. Many are panic-buying food and other day-to-day items to safeguard their physical well-being. But how many will go the same lengths to ensure that their spiritual well-being is safe and secure and well taken care of in Christ? It is still not too late if we begin now. As Christians we need to:

• sin less and obey God’s Word more;
• murmur less and pray more;
• complain less and lift up our praises and worship more;
• play less and serve more;
• fill our minds less with the things of the world and more with the Word of God;
• spend less time with worldly friends and more with God’s children.

May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ find us faithful when He returns. Amen
