"O Send Out Thy light And Thy Truth" Psalm(43:3)
By the grace of God, we were given the privilege to hold our 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service on 3rd January 2026. The theme for that worship service was “O Send Out Thy Light And Thy Truth” based on Psalm 43, which is also our church’s motto. God moved the hearts of the church members to attend and give thanks for His faithfulness in sustaining His church founded 20 years ago. We are also grateful for more than 80 brethren from various churches and students from FEBC who attended the worship service to rejoice with us and to witness God’s providential hand upon Truth BPC over the years.
The meeting was chaired by Elder Winston Chew and God’s messenger that morning was our Advisory Pastor Rev (Dr) Quek Suan Yew. The word of God from Psalm 43 exhorted us to keep relying on our Lord in the midst of many troubles and trials. We are able to overcome all adversities and problems through His living and perfectly preserved Word, because He is the One who will send out His light and His truth. The combined Church and Junior Choirs also presented the hymn “This Is Thy Church” (music arranged by Pr David Chew, with verses added) for the edification of God’s people.
After the worship service there was a video screened to summarise the founding and history of Truth BPC, and to show some behind the scenes footage of the production process in the 20th Anniversary Book. The ability to produce the commemorative book is a further testimony of God’s goodness in moving the team of people to labour in many different aspects to put on record the work of God in Truth BPC.
We are grateful to God for keeping Truth BPC for 20th years and pray that all His people will remain firmly rooted on the perfectly preserved Word of everlasting life, even to show the love and truth of God in our lives.
