Time is precious because it is limited while we are here on earth. When the world ends, everyone and everything that is in this world will end with it. Stop loving the world. God has reserved the world for destruction by fire. The praises and accolades of the world are worthless, do not be motivated by them nor long for them because they are not blessings. Attaining them is not success, but deception and being blinded by the god of this world.

1. No more time for the world (Rev 10:1-3)

The “mighty angel” (Rev 10:1) was sent by God to tell us that this world is running out of time. He will come in greatness and holiness. A “rainbow was upon his head” (Rev 10:1) reminds us that God is able to destroy the world by fire like He did with the Flood. God created the world, controls the world, and will destroy the world.

The mighty angel will picture judgment similar to Christ. When the world is judged, everything in it will be destroyed, including man. What is your relationship with Christ, are you prepared to meet Him right now? Do not procrastinate. We, as Christians, ought to be doing what the Lord wants us to do, with all our might.

2. No more time for the unprepared (Rev 10:4)

The secret things belong to God. All that is written in the Bible is enough for us to live a life of holiness, righteousness, and godliness, according to the Scripture (Deut 29:29). The Scripture is enough even without what God did not want John to write for us. God would have revealed it to us if it was useful to prepare us for the end of the world. If we are not prepared when we have the 66 books of the Bible with us, revealing more to us would not make a difference. Are you prepared for the end of the world?

3. No more time till all is fulfilled (Rev 10:5-7)

Nothing is excluded from God’s destruction and judgment. The only safety is in the Lord’s saving arms. Revelation 10:7 says, “the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets,” telling us that all which God has prophesied in the Bible will be fulfilled before the world ends. Certain prophecies, such as the Gospel being preached all over the world and having false prophets, have been fulfilled. Others have not yet been fulfilled. We must study the Bible to know them. The world will cease to exist for eternity.

Do something about how you are living right now. Where your treasure is now, there will your heart be also. Do not be found wanting, but be found faithful.
